Just got back from ChickenStock- Mom is still driving back home w/ the birds.

She sold 12 Polish (maybe a few others- not sure), Picked up 2 BLRW to add in to her egg laying flock (hopefully not 2 roos!!). And most of her last hatch that Jenny incubated for her (a few more to pick up in a day or two still to hatch since this morning)

Plus a Silkie, a Mille Fleur D'Unccle, & a millie fleur pied bantam Cochin the will go to KS for her friend's grand daughter (they like funny pets)

Great food, fun people, LOTS of birds (& a few bunnies as well!!)

You are so very welcome! Like I said before, I'd rather give them to a BYCer who will appreciate them instead of sell them to a local who doesn't! Hope they are settling in well and that you have a wonderful time at Chickstock with your grand daughter!

What a great time at Chickenstock!

I'm really glad you all convinced me to bring the whole family, it was a great way to spend the day together.

Thank you to Opa, Grannie, and all the others who made it such a great day - good weather, good food, a little chicken chasing for fun, and lots of interesting chicken talk. Thanks so much!
(i also managed to escape with only some bunnies for a friend - thanks again Jen)

Thank you Opa and everyone else that help coordinate the event. I wish I could have stayed longer but we had to get back to meet our friend who is picking up our roo. We had a great time! Again, what a great bunch of people.
