yorkchick - It was great to meet you and your DH and talk for awhile. You don't know how close to taking Worf home you actually were! I was gonna put him in your back seat when you weren't looking!

I know I read a post that mentioned someone had white Marans, anyone know who it was?

I would have loved to have taken a couple of those home!

chickwannaB - Thanks so much for offering me your drawing prize, you're too sweet. I'll live until next year with out it. I think what you got was one for your dashboard and the one I picked was a dog toy with no stuffing in it. But thanks for thinking of me!!

YOu'll have to let Opa know your name and address so he can put you in the sign-in book. How many people did you take along?

Took my wife and daughter... Dog too. lol I'll PM Opa. Thanks.

Not me no way...I did sleep with Henry when he was a little baby...much smaller than Penelope, and I did sit/sleep on the bathroom floor as we tried to graduate him..lol.

Penelope has no idea she is a goose. Neither does Henry. They are both out in the yard right now- and Penelope is cry/honking her head off. I HAVE to start food.
I just got home and the world will end if I dont make dinner. Dont believe me? Ask my kids and husband.

Its late, and the work seminar stuffed me full- between there today, and Chickenstock yesterday, I have eaten enough food to last a week!

Just got home a little while ago from my weekend down in lansing to find a happy surprise in my incubator. When I left home on friday I had 7 bantam cochin eggs in the incubator that were at 22 days with only one little peep ever heard. My luck with shipped eggs has been very spotty this year, so I left town with a heavy heart. When I walked in to check the incubator after I got home there they were - 7 fluffy little feather feet! Got a lavender,a mille, and - Ta Da - a much longed-for brown red

I dunno if there were more than our chocolate chip cookies. They didn't show up til about 1:30 though, so I'm guessing there were some other ones. Ours were in a stainless steel mixing bowl. I know there were a lot of delicious desserts, and luckily a lot of them were still around when we DID show up.

I took a white maran home from Nigellas. I am not sure if she had others.

Nigellas - Do you breed/sell/have white Marans or do you know anyone who does? I love my Black Coppers but a few whites would be awesome too!

Wow the desserts were great weren't they? I was gone by 1:30, had a softball game to go to down in Eaton Rapids, so I missed your cookies. These ones were in a plastic tub on the table to the left, by the spring rolls (also delicious). My dad also loved the lentil salad by the way, he has recently become a vegan (at 80!). I told him I will NEVER stop eating eggs.
