Just wanted to share a photo of the babies I got from Theron at Chickenstock - mama (a Java) was trying to dust bathe but they kept jumping on her, lol. This one has all four babies in it - can you spot them all?

Hope has been babysitting her grandson who turned two in February. One method she has been using to wear him out is to let him play in the water. Rather than deal with a wet soggy diaper she has let him go nude. However, she has decided that there is too much risk of getting delicate parts sunburnt so she decided today to make him a bathing suit. She took a pair of my underwear and with little altering with the serger in short order she had created a baby sized swimsuit. Kind of a toss up as to which would look the funniest, a baby or an old man wearing a speedo.

I'm turning on the AC and doing indoor chores! Won't be "glowing" too much today! Hey, at least I've got clean pores!

I'll be "glowing" today. It's time to clean out the main coop and do a little reconfiguring: new roosting bars, poopy tray, additional nesting boxes, and a low roosting bar for the bantys. I think the girlies will love it!

My B'Rocks are starting to FINALLLY show their combs and waddles....so maybe they will start laying soon???

Opa, yesterday you mentioned a "dusting trombone"....what is that? (I tried to google and came up with nada) And does it help you dust the birds without dusting yourself in the process??

I put the big chocolate lab OUTside of the fence today and let the 6 Chante's run, oh boy! did they have some fun. Went right straight to a weed and brush pile and started scratching.
