It is an hour and half away and I can't leave any earlier than 7:00 am. I would be late, would they still let me sell?

Yes, they will. We have gone to a swap (don't remember where? lol) two hours late and stayed and extra hour after it was done. That was the only place we have ever had a sell out and we had almost 40 birds.

I was wondering for a moment on why ya'll would go all the way to St. Louis (Missouri) for a chicken swap. Then google educated me that there is a St. Louis, Michigan! I can be so brain dead sometimes!

It happens. I didn't know there was a St louis either!

SO, I gave my chickens some cantalope today. It was a total cantalope massacre. Was funny as heck! Now, I have a question about something that happened. My usually very sweet and loveable silkie hen Minnesota Cuke became and aggressive evil little brat! Heres this not even 2 pound chicken, Heck I think she's probably a pound, she's only 4 months going on 5, picking on bigger Wyandottes and Leghorn. Pecking at their feet and generally just being a snot rocket. Now, could it be because she really just liked the fruit? She was even aggressive towards me today before the fruit incident... What ya'll think? I mean, this is the ideal kid hen. She will let my 5 yr old pick her up, take her all over the yard, and generally treat her like a purse dog...

First time I heard of St. Louis Michigan was when my son's football team had a game there. I thought the very same thing, why would they go all the way to Missouri and how was I going to go that far? It was still far for me because I lived in Okemos, my son lived on Crystal Lake.

And played for Carson City-Crystal? Or Central Montcalm? What's your son's name?

Man, Theron, if you had bantam blue cochin pullets as well as cockerels I would be mighty tempted to set that alarm.

Anybody want a breeding pair of American Blue Geese? I could be persuaded to set it for that, too. LOL!
