Thanks so much, Sam! I knew that I could count on you! You are very influential on BYC and many people respect you. It makes me very sad to see what they are doing to the village. My husband was born and raised in Milford and I started coming here almost 25 years ago and while it still has a quaintness about it, I have to agree with you that they are trying to make it like Ann Arbor or Royal Oak. I would like to remind them that Ann Arbor allows chickens!! The judge in Archie's case owns SEVERAL businesses and properties and has been big on making it THAT DESTINATION. I knew when I saw his name, that Archie was in trouble. The mistake Archie made was trying to do the right thing and went to the council for permission, but that is just the type of guy he is. He is also one who likes to cause a stir and I know he won't back down. I am proud to help him in any way I can and THANK YOU for supporting his rights!! I am blessed to live in the Township and our Township Manager has vowed that he is going to fight tooth and nail to keep the township rural.
That doesn't make sense that he can be charged with not being profitable. All he has to do is contribute to the economy, in my understanding. Really....how many farmers would say they are running profitable operations?? They're all in debt past their ears. For them to say he's only made so many dollars, thus he's not profitable, so he's out, isn't right.
Did anyone follow "Oakpark hates veggies"? such a following!
