spent my morning helping friends move, then my afternoon enclosing a little entry to the chickens coop.

Sheet metal on the top screwed down with 6 1" screws along each side, Just enough to keep snow from totally blowing right into the coop thru the first door. It could use a little painting. But never tell a woman she Can't. cuz she will, lol.

My husband looked at it and laughed, said it looked like some of the contraptions you see attached to trailer houses up in Beaverton. I told him don't be shaking your head mister. A few minutes later I go out and ask him if he needs any help, he's fixing the hinged door where the dogs go into the coop on the other end of the building, so I laughed at it, Asked him "who showed you how to build, your WIFE?" and kept laughing. Im lucky he has a decent sense of humor. Or I'd be flattened.

Got home not too long ago from picking up the pair of American Blue Geese from OliveHill. She was very nice and her pet sheep was really cool.

Here's my hubbys fixed doggie dog, with ol Mousse looking at it like "you've got to be kidding"

They barge right thru it so hard they end up ripping the screws right out of the wood, it got down to hanging by one hinge and then they finally tore it off, so it needed major repair. Some day it's gonna have to have a whole new DOOR!!
And here's my little helper who stuck her face right into the paint bucket, on her comb tips, front of her breast feathers and even her beak, will it hurt her?

Glad you made it home safe and sound. It was so nice meeting you both. Just don't tell Rosie she's a lamb, okay? She thinks she's a dog.

I hope you get tons of beautiful blue goslings out of them come spring. Which reminds me, I forgot to tell you when you were here, but they do both carry the recessive blue so they produce both blue and Lavender Ice.

I don't think the paint will do your helper any harm. More than likely it'll flake off her soon. It isn't like paint has lead in it nowadays!

Are your chanties laying yet?! I have a trio of pullets that hatched with them at the same time (BCMs and one australorp) and OMG! No eggs yet! They are driving me bonkers. I've even kept them from free ranging, just in case they were hiding eggs in silly places for an easter egg hunt.

It sure turned out to be a beautiful day!!

Took the dogs for a walk. Let the girls free range. Man, they were happy. Been cooped up for a few days and they didn't like that at all. I got some yard work done, too. Hope you all got to enjoy the day doing your chores outside! Good Night....
