I hope they are happy. They seem to be integrating quite well. Still a little shy but getting better every day.

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all the vets who served this country for the right reasons and not for the wrong, (IE-just to blow poop up). My Gramps, uncles, great gramps and uncles, served in WW1, WW2, Korea, Nam...

Anyway, I am posting a pic of "WHAT" renamed Nimeria (George RR Martin). I would like guesses as to the type she is... She has 4 toes per foot and feathering on her legs. Not a lot, but some. No, she isn't sick, I just freaked her out and she wasn't sure what I was going to pull next. I had just did a feather and pit search on Buffy, looking for mites and lice and still free and clear! YEAH! I really hope that stays that way. I have been lucky. I am gonna post Buffy too, cuz the look she was giving me cracks me up.
"WHAT AM I?"

Her muffs are dirty cuz she just had yogurt and hasn't quite figured out how to not wear it.

Um, are you sure the other one is a hen...just sayin', the feathers in the back look kind of roo-y. I could be wrong, though, as I don't have one like that say please feel free to wrong me.

FINALLY, got all the meds. the vet said I need for my chicks. can't believe it is so hard to get chicken meds. Had to drive over 30miles in on direction and 60+ in the other for the other. but they are all getting the meds now. hope to be better soon. The 2 in the basement, really want to be with the others. They were the sickest.
Thank you to all the vets. hope you had a good veterans day. Thank you all for your service.
Loved all the pics people posted this week. Roosters are so pretty, but can be such a pain.......Opa loved your welcome sign

welcome to all .....
Have a good weekend. Have to work tomorrow, need to get the coop cleaned well tomorrow night.
Teeville, I work for the PO in G.R.( carrier)It is really hard to get in right now: not much hiring going on, but temps get a lot of hrs. so if any one is looking for a job keep trying. It's a good job if you can get in.

Same here. It looks to be a pretty full day tomorrow. And I agree, it's not easy to get into this line of work right now, but you never know when the right chance or opportunity will happen. Our PO just brought on 2 new people so it doesn't hurt to try.

Buffy if my salmon faverolle hen. The other one, Nimeria, Ya know, I was wondering that myself, but as she's 5 months old, I am pretty sure she's a she. I thought the feathers around her neck were kinda roo-ish, but her tail feathers don't have any streamers at all. SO, that makes figuring her out harder too! LOL. And she hasn't crowed at all. She's also about middle on the hen pecking order.
