Got it!
So I have 3 nest boxes inside and if I can I'll post those. The first picture shows two roosts with boards under neath for poo. On the outside...we put rubber pond liner over the top and nailed it along the side so it wouldn't rip off when going down the road and that stopped the leaks at the joints. We had tried goop to stop it but didn't work. No leak now!

Ok.....my first photo of the interior of the mobile coop got erased. I don't know why but when I try to do more than one picture...that happens. Regardless....this RV is 16 feet long and 11 wide and has 3 nest boxes! It has hardware cloth over the windows near the roosts.

Sorry for your poochie loss ChickwannB and Welcome Jerry!

Another chicken challenge!!!

My 1.5 lb D'Uccle is now being bullied by my two juvenile ISA Browns.

I would really like to keep the D'Uccle until she passes away. She is almost 3 years and is like a family member.

Does anyone have a wimpy chicken that I could adopt to befriend Bobbi?

I know I can devide the coop in half so they cannot get to her but I hate to reduce the area of movement for all three chickens.

Thank you in advance for your advice. Glad to have the forum.

Nova, I have 4 kids and 8 grand kids. I've got to start early. Now, I need to wade thru the gifts and start wrapping. I don't want to wait until last minute... so much to do. Kids have requested Manicotti for Christmas dinner. That's a lot of stuffing!!! Guess they get the turkey or ham at in laws, so want something different. Found recipe for a sugar cake my mom use to make. Want to try.. again.. to make it. First time the dough didn't rise. I'm not a baker. Don't like to cook much any more either, but I do have my moments.

X2 chickflick. I don't like to cook either but they seem to think I need to do it everyday lol. My sister is the cooker in our family. She loves it. Sometimes I think she's not all there either because her favorite thing to do is iron!!! She irons everything she can get her hands on. Even underware. Lol

taprock - IMO taking a chicken to a community facility when you know it has parasites is irresponsible. Dusting and bathing are not surefire ways to rid a chicken of mites and often have to be repeated -- just like the ivermectin -- to be 100% effective. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if your chickens had never had mites and then they got them from someone's chicken who they brought knowing he was infected. The same consideration is nice to give to other 4H'ers. JMO.
