Yep, there can be disease passed from mother to offspring, even sometime fathers can pass diseases to offspring too. I had to cull my entire flock without saving the eggs to mycoplasma g.

Sounds like a winning idea. We must be thinking along the same line. I when grocery shopping and came home with 3 bottles of wine...just seemed like a good idea at the time.

Im not here.
I am working on a presentation that I have to give tomorrow to 40 managers.
I have a power point presentation, but no planned talk. I reckon I am screwed if I cant fake it. I plan on faking my way through it.

Did I mention that I have little baby snowmans that hatched? lol...I counted six or seven tonight when I disturbed her. Gave her a heat lamp. I have the cord strung through my window to the outlet in my utility room, I by-passed the powerstrip that kept blowing.

I feel much better for her and the babies that way, but my trio of goofies (polish) think that the heat lamp is the best invention since mealworms- and they keep sticking their head under it. Stop disturbing the new mama, Polish!!!

Wow, its amazing how many pages can be added to this thread in just a few short hours. It seems that every time I log on I must read 2 or 3 pages just to get current. When I went on vacation I took my laptop with me so I was able to keep on top of it without too much effort, although if I were to die I don't think I could I could ever get caught up.
