Buffy, the salmon faverolle hen. She's not very happy I caught her. Kinda suckered her. HEHEE. First she is shocked, and then she had a freaking fit. LOL. Her comb is healing nicely after the butchering Rocky, the pullet come cockeral, gave her.

And here are the quads... Enjoying fresh spinach, french cut beans and left over yellow rice.

The GLW Vanna has started laying. She started yesterday, but I could not find her egg. I heard her at it this morning, so I knew she laid one in the garage this morning too, but still could not find it. I went to get a few flakes of straw off the bale I have sitting up on an old washer machine, and LO! There they are! She made herself a nice little nest right on top. The bale is tied up, cuz I keep retying it every time I take a flake off. SO, I guess she does not like the two nest boxes I provided for her to pick from. LOL. I guess I will have to get a new bale of straw and put it where she won't make a nest of it. LOL. No, not really. Come Monday she will be back in the big coop with the other hens and Mr. Fluffers. The rooster got delayed for freezer camp until this upcoming Monday. Which is ok. They are going to be fresh for Christmas. I am also taking one of the neighbors cockerals. He, cockeral that is, killed one of the new layers mounting her. He was so aggressive. They also have another hen that he has taken a serious liking too and is beating up. SOOO... BYE BYE ROO! And he really is a pretty one.

Oh I'm not going to open it. They aren't due until tomorrow. I'm just worried is all. Thanks.

Babigyrl on this thread just hatched some chicks. I think they can hatch up to 3 days after they are due. Saying a prayer that they all hatch perfectly for you!
