ok i have 2 pages of "the sky is falling" no we're doing updates??? i thought that was the other day?

Anyway, i was wondering what brand of food you guys who had the wry neck were feeding your birds? I will try to look it up too. i thought it was a pigeon disease?

Kinda funny ....

Our Pastor retired the end of December and I am involved in the search for a new Pastor. This week we have been reading resumes and no one really jumped out at me. But then one pastor has under past work experience that he maintained bio-security at a hatchery. I jokingly told them he had my vote. A pastor who knows about bio-security, who would have ever guessed!

Avalon, I used medical tape, pretty sticky stuff. I watched het sit and pull at it! What a stinker. I am going to try again...

As for the feed I use, I switched from Dumor brand to the feed store stuff. I do not like it at all. As soon as I am done with this stuff/ I am going back to the other.

The snow has been non stop all day and the wind has picked up some. I think there's about 6+ inches out there, but it's blown around so much I'm not sure. My hubby works for the road commission and is usually done at 3:30. Tonight he is still working. I've been to the coop four times today and each time I've had to make a new trail.

You sure can have a ride if I go. It's on the calendar at this point. DH is not into chickens either but he may decide to go to curtail any stray chickens wandering home with me! He is very much into the predator calling and hunting.... and my son is much on the way to follow. Last week every night at dusk he would go out for about a half hour and howl trying to get coyotes to respond.

has anyone tried giving their chickens the Kaytee fruit and nut blend? It has 18% protein... Has sun flower, peanut, raisin, cherry and more sunflower... No suet.. I bought some today for treat... And they really seemed to dig it. Its a bit expensive. It looks so yummy I am tempted to snack on it!
