That is just too funny. My ex son in law had a 600 lb sow that LOVED beer. He would get home from work, grab 2 beers, and go out to his hog. That pig would just come running full throttle. She would open her mouth and wait for him to pour it in. I never seen anything like it. LOL

How funny! They're brilliant animals. This gilt has been the most playful pig ever since she was just a tiny thing. She'll be a year old next month and she's never ceased. She's always the first one at the gate for ear scratches. And is just a doll. She loves drinking out of the hose, if she weren't bred I'd be tempted to try the beer thing with her. I bet she'd catch on real quick.

we got our goats from our neighbors down the road, who used to have bonfire parties all the time- the girls always wondered why their wine coolers/beer went so fast, but chalked it up to drinking.... until they caught one of the little stinkers tipping one up!
Ditto on the cigaretts.

I must be crazy. Spent most of the day outside, it has been especially calm and quiet all day.
Tried to get a fire going but it's so cold, the flame froze.
Now I'm waiting for the "snow storm" that they are predicting.

Sillychicken, I am sorry to hear about your aunt. I still miss my 98 year old grandmother, she was such a great lady and had been through so much in her life.

I bet those goats ate the cigarettes instead of smoking them. Wonder what smoked goat would taste like? Opa?

I haven't smoked goat but I would expect it to be very similar to smoked venison.

I think that if it's made of meat it can be smoked. I used to work with a guy who smoked carp every spring and it was delicious.

Ewwwwww. I wouldn't eat those goats if i were starving to death! ..... The dominant "buck" male is a self-watering unit......they will steal lit cigaretts from unsuspecting company and give you the wide eye stare while slowly chewing it, cherry and all. A ew! stinky goat! will earn you getting peed on when you turn your back. That's what free gets you, i guess!

I rigged a tiny brooder lamp with 100wt bulb to it, and clipped it to the watered.... Works like a charm. Lol. Don't think the chickens like it though. Lite all nite in that corner now.
