The poor cat!! Funny, at times it seems that the animals migrate to the people that don't like them. Seems like they're trying to get you to change your mind. Don't know what vibes you're putting out to that poor cat.

That chicken pic is adorable!!
That silkie was so much fun. It would sit on our laps all the time. I don't even know what we fed her, cuz there were no farm stores around. Do remember a UFO that landed in the cemetary by our house, maybe that's where it came from!!

Probably putting out the vibe that I don't like cats !!! But in all fairness to me I will say that last November one of his cats was hit by a speeding car. Hurt real bad in the backend. Well, I know he loved this cat but I suggested we take it and have it put down. So I call vet, off he goes at 10:00 at night to the vet. Vet told him she could possibly save it although I didn't see how. End of story and $935.00 later his cat is in the house now and it lost one hind leg. So, even though I don't like cats I don't like to see one hurt.

so many posts, so little time....over 100 posts since I was on early yesterday

Welcome Leslie

you are not very far from me.

Chickflick, I love your silkie story, so sweet.

I love all the pics that have been posted. Beautiful chickens, geese, cats, puppies and Beepers.

Mom2 I hope you continue to feel better.

Opa, tell Hope I said that that quilt is beautiful, she should not shortchange herself. I am sure a lot of work went into that.

RBahmer, ouch!

My DD was looking through my chicken breed books last night and came across a picture of a Frizzle. Do any of you have/had any Frizzles? They look so cute, sorta like little Beeper there. Anyway, it states that their feathers tend to be sorta brittle and break off easily....leaving a chicken with a porcupine quill look. Sounds like it would be uncomfortable to the chicken and hard for people to handle them if needed.
