He's Alive!!!

My poor roo Frenchie was just attacked! My kids came running to my room saying they were hearing a chicken screaming from where they were in the living room. I ran outside with a flashlight hoping they were only hearing the roos going off for whatever reason, but no. When I got to the bantams, I found 5 of them and 2 great big piles of feathers (no blood, just feather). I have to tell you my heart sank when I saw those feathers. I flashed back to when we lost Frenchie's sister, Muffin and wondered if a skunk found a way in again. I was able to track the feathers about halfway across the yard before losing them. So my youngest daughter and I started systematically going over all the yard even though it's dark and raining. I warned her if we found him he would most likely be dead. I was about to give up and was on the other side of the yard when we both heard some clucky noises. She ran over to our side deck and there he was! He was on the deck and so scared. I was able to get him and we brought him inside. I looked him over, but minus the feather loss he looks fine. We've got him in a dog carrier with a nice warm blanket and a cuddly toy to keep him company. I'm going to keep him inside tonight so he can calm down and get dry. I don't know what attacked him, but thank goodness whatever it was wasn't able to finish the deed.

I'm so glad he is OK. I hope you can find out where the predator got in.

Lets get rid of Housework!

I'm in

(ok, I'll keep on cooking, but that's it!)

If you do the cooking, I will do the housework, deal? I wax floors and shampoo carpets too!

I'm in.......except the cooking part. I especially dislike that !! I always say, that's why they make restaurants LOL

LOL

Good night all, I was going to write something about something I read but am in a daze from all the posts so I better just wish all you rough sleepers pleasant dreams tonight.

Yep,avatars below names the whole time :D

Yay for him and you!
I stopped in to the Minnesota thread... last post was 3 days ago. I could DIE over there alone and nobody would find me for days.

Here' my poor guy. I put a heat lamp on him for a bit to help warm him up and dry him.
