Do ya already have any Favs ?? I know an excellent source and (I think) she ships eggs. here let me tease ya with my roo that I got from her. THis is Fudge and he is an awesome guy.

Nice roo... may have to talk to you about your source... My hatchery faves have left a lot to be desired!...


I've been slowly losing my hens.. something is getting in the coop, pulling a hen out and eating it in their yard. I've had a trap set up in their pen (with a dead bird), but I haven't gotten anything. So today my poor birds will be stuck in the coop (bait) and the trap is set right in front of the door. It can't get in the coop without going into the trap. I hope we can catch what ever it is!

So as I ran out the door this morning to get to work I took a quick glance into the bator and saw some pippin' going on! hoping to see this by the time I get home!...

Olive, I was making a point defending my use of archaic language. I love my coeds. But not in the creepy, old man stalker way.

M2M, you wouldn't like it at my house. Thermostat is set at 60 but sometimes I bump it up to 62.

Opa, gathering wood will likely have to wait for a few days, I have that same chest cough, which caused a pulled muscle in my back. Maybe Thursday before school? If both of us old roosters are up to it.

Forgot who is getting a new computer, but good for you. After a few days learning curve of the new software, you'll really like it. I hate using this old POS while my new one is in the shop. It's been 2 weeks so far without the new laptop and the hamster is getting tired.

With all of the new hatch-lings, bunnies, lambs, etc., I suggest we name Farmerboy as the Official Nursery Rhyme Poet Laureate.

I just saw the online (BYC) contest posted a pic and a little info about fudge. Then the one who started the contest (aoxa) had a couple look at the pics and choose the 3 roosters that they liked best based on looks and the story provided. This was done for both LF and B so 6 winners total. All six winners have now been told we can have a drawing of our roo if we want.
I plan to frame the drawing and gift it to Cloverleaf Farm since I know how special Fudge is to her.
