Looks like everyone is still sleeping......I've been up since 5. Don't know why nothing really going on. Seems pretty calm outside.

Opa, glad you and your family are feeling better.

The concert at the Filmore was spectacular! We had a blast! I am definitely feeling it today though we were on the floor up front... I know I dislocated my thumb at one point and was [ ] this close to getting into a fight with some stupid girl. (she hit my husband in the head twice when he tried to help her up, and to keep her from pushing our friend down. She was trying to force her way up front really rudely)... I grabbed her and was gonna give her the what for, but my DH guided her toward the security guy at the front...man was I ******. But other than that....... it was one of the best shows!

Kinda disappointed in the lack of snow!!

I painted my bedroom wall to day and plan to do a few more walls like this...

That wall is awesome!!! did you do it free hand?

Today I taught my son to build a snowman. I have not built a snow man in 25 years....
What took you so long, snow men are fun, can't seem to get my grandkids interested though

Farmerboy - wouldn't your chicks be ok even if the others are sick? Or is there no way to keep them from getting contaminated?

MG can be transmitted to the chick right in the egg; before it ever hatches, it's already infected.

The coffee is hot, the crossword is worked, the temperatures are starting to rise, I'm feeling like there is a chance I might live, my youngest son will be here tomorrow, spring isn't far off, so life is pretty good.

I'm going to attempt to finish pruning the apple trees today so that I can get them sprayed. I think the worst part of pruning is picking up all of the cut branches afterwards. A few years ago I had the trees pruned by the first part of January and all of the branches were in one large pile while I waited for the snow to melt so that I could haul them out towards the rear of my property. Cottontail rabbits soon discovered this banquet and it was amazing the number of rabbits that came to feast. A Cooper's hawk soon took to sitting in one of the trees closest to my office window. What a treat to be able to sit undetected just a few feet from him as he intently watched and waited. On numerous occasions I watch him dive deeply into the brushpile and pull out a rabbit. I never grow tired of watching nature's dramas unfold.
