And it's snowing more!

This is from my DH who just got home. This is looking down the road that is on his route. He bumped the tree with the truck and once the snow was off it popped back up. He also said to mention he took out 3 mailboxes today but didn't get stuck because he took the time to put chains on the plow truck while some other guys didn't.

are you sure he is on the road and not going down the back 40?

Gas just hit $4 a gallon here today. Big load of duck s**t if you ask me. Well you didn't, but I will tell you anyway.

I'm with you on this one. seems the TV says gas will go up and sure enough the stations hear that and UP it goes. recession # 3;4.? her we come.(oh, we never got out of the last one,did we?)

Is it over yet! Oh lord forgive me, but I hate Sundays. 3 papers on Sunday, 2 down, one 2 go... I like Monday. No work on Mondays... Is it Monday yet?

cool sitting here this AM loked up and there was a deer walking across the hill behind our gully, cant see them in the summer as the foliage is to thick.

just fixed my self an egg, seems to have gret in it didn't see any shell? something in the pan? this egg has little clumps of extra calcium on it ? think I will go fix another,should be able to find another lumpy shelled egg to try.

I think I saw them, however the incubator is totally full right now. This is the first you will hear this from me, but I hope all 42 do not hatch - if they do I am in so much trouble! I did find some frizzle blue Polish!

Finally caught up on the posts. Enjoyable reading as always!
Well I am totally out of feed and need to make a trip to TSC today. I have the Will Power and Will Only Look at the chicks....for now!

Yesterday I was doing a dance & singing Sparrow Laid an Egg, Sparrow Laid an Egg. My little bantam finally decided to lay another egg after taking several months off the production wagon. Plus I got a whopping 10 eggs!

This little egg is bigger than the others ( 7 total ) she had laid but still tiny & cute compared to the others!

It is still lightly snowing here at the mid pinky of our mitten state. I ran out of bird food for the wild ones so I decided to share some of the chickens scratch with them. Tractor's chick days Ads need to have a disclaimer on them that reads "Enter at your own risk" or "Chicken Math may take effect" .

I must resist. Eggs being donated to DD's school for incubating in class.

I was woken up this morning by the loudest peeping! Jumped out of bed thinking a dog or cat was messing with the brooder. Dogs and cats were all still sleeping; it was just the chicks greeting the morning sunlight. I think the Wyandottes are the noise makers It's a beautiful sunny day even if it is cold. The big chickens are all outside, even the Not-so-Uggos.
