No you are not reading it right. It an attempt at humor that evidently fell short. I was implying that a senior moment had me agreeing and a second flare up of senility made me forget what we were even talking about.

Just came back from TSC where I succumbed to the call of some ISA brown pullets. When the saleswoman got them out of the stock tank she asked if it was okay if one was a week old. I said sure but make them all week olds.

Nova..

You may have as many of the feather-foots as you desire. Just figure out how to get them from here to there.

Hillbilly Hen...

Well, I got a new feeder. A big one.

And two new nest boxes..really excited to put them up. Who here got one? Showed the picture? Yeah, that one. Got me TWO of them.

ANd I got starter crumble..and I got me layer crumble...

Oh..you want to know what little fluff balls stole my resistance and told me to tell the guy.."Yes sir..those from that bin"...heh heh.
I got Isa Browns.
Not for me, no no no not for me. For my brother in law. I have to balance out how many banties and roos I force him to take with production birds.
But two of the balls of fluff are not Isas. Nope. Dont know what they are. They were in with the Isas. Told the guy to grab me the bigger of them in the bin= and I thought that is what he did until I unpacked them here. And two are yellow. Probably roos. Of course I would get roos out of the pullet bin. Why wouldnt I?

no no no...I read it right. It said,
"I would be so glad to make this for you, Mom 2em All" "Maybe I will make one for Chickmate as well, if she plays her cards right..."

AND HA!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that I wasnt the only one who couldnt resist Isa Browns....did you get white ones too? Well, yellow ones...

I went to tractor supply

Me too, 13 chickies and 2 duckies later.

Cleaned both coops and wow! This wind is still blowing but it was better than the best man-made blower for dusting out the coops! Nature always wins out.

I sent my DH to Tractor supply, but I doubt they have chicks up here yet anyway.

I have spent the morning cleaning and baking. Our church is having a sledding party turned baseball game due to snow all leaving in a weeks time. It has finally warmed up today and I don't think the chickens are going to want to go back in the yard.

Get to spring sister in law out of that hospital! Still don't know about kids or not. The whole family is still in denial!

Well, they will see her in a few. Poor girl can't walk hardly. Still, she has to be excited to get home! I'm just glad she called me for the ordeal, so at least someone can care for her.
I don't remember all the posts, but i remember more cute chicks, and a lot more "just one more" chick buys!

Still holding strong, but that's only cause i have noplace to put them. (birds not allowed here, still to cold at the relative's where the coop is) Hmmmm. where's the heat??!

Driving back from town yesterday with DH we seen an eagle sitting low in a tree. I thought it was pretty cool until DH told me to look yander and saw a coop with chickens in the yard

DH said "he's wanting a chicken dinner." The eagle not the husband

Come to think of it though we did have roasted chicken yesterday for dinner.
