I'm gassing up my car, Laura. Get packed, we're hitting the road!! I hope you know where we're going, cuz I'm so bad at directions!
Prayers said for those in need.
Enjoy this beautiful day!!

I still don't know my way around here

I need a GPS just to walk around in our woods.

This reminded me of something. I don't have to worry about chicken math. My husband NEVER notices anything. babigyrl22 brought me 2 HUGE roosters yesterday and I just put them in with my bantams until I could put them in their own pen and mind you, he walks by that pen SEVERAL times a day and when he got home yesterday evening I said to him," Did you see the 2 new roosters?". His reply was "NO, where are they?". I said OMG, you walk by that pen how many times a day and you didn't even notice 2 huge roosters with them little bity bantams? He replied no, I didn't see them.

PLUS - when I went to TSC the other day I came home with 6 ity bity d'Uccles and they are in a tub in our spare bathroom. I said to him yesterday morning, he was going in there, will you check to see how the chicks are doing? He come back out and looked at me and said the chicks are fine. I swear he doesn't notice anything around here LOL.

LOL! Are they really that big? I have to admit I live around a bunch of families with young kids and the chickens get the spoils of the leftovers from picky eaters. heh heh....they got a whole plate of half eaten hotdogs, hamburgers, and strawberries yesterday.

It is not uncommon for me to look out my window and see my neighbors dumping their vegetable/fruit scaps and leftovers into the chicken yard. (don't worry they've been instructed about what is not good for them) So maybe that's what's making them so...HUGE. LOL

HH- I have to say that you have the best looking barred rocks I have ever seen. I dont care for the breed, they make me dizzy..but yours are truly spectacular!
I think you could win contests with them.

Oh thank you Mom 2 and RaZ. I really like them. They are very sweet. My Ma [grandma] always had BR's and it's because of her that I wanted them. I got most of my chickens from Kathyinmo last spring.
I am already dizzy

It is actually 3 EEs and one OEG, not 2 EEs and 2 OEG.
lol....they are chicks to me!! You had such a nice selection I was getting confused! Thank you for setting me straight. My kids & DH had it right but heck, what do they know!! Again it was so nice to meet you. Your mom is great & so easy to talk to, hope she comes to Chicken Stock...talk her into going!!

Maybe name tags with the avatars on them? LOL!

Laura, every time you post pictures of those BRs it makes me want to add some to our flock. A few more pictures and I'll be convinced, keep posting. LOL!
