Don't sell yourself cheap, a barn is a pretty big thing, you should at least get a pizza or two as well.
If anyone would like 2 parakeets, I have a green male and a white female that are paired. They have a 54 inch high, 31 inch long and 22 inch deep cage in a sandstone cream color.

Not only would that barn be expensive, it would have angles previously unknown to geometry.
The empty beer cans would be used for a passive solar collector to keep it warm in the winter.

Pizza sounds really good. The price of labour just went up!

I love budgies, I used to raise them. Even taught a couple to talk. They have such funny little voices. If you were closer, I'd take them in a New York minute.

I better get back out and do some more chores. Got a trailer full of apple wood to cut up and it looks like it might rain.

Glad to hear Earl is back at home.

Love the pics of the BR's, but with my lightheadedness it was very hard to look at them for long. Actually made my head start to hurt more.

RBahmer, that kid of yers is picking on the zoning inspector...

Wow, those bards are beautiful... If I had a penchant for illegal substances, I'd want one just for the expected trip those markings would cause! Lol. Oh the migraine watching them could cause! Lol

Mom, glad your better.

Nancy, if I could, I would take those keets off your hands. I miss my girl... Had her for 9 years. My mom however... She doesn't like the sound of birds in the house, and since I have over run the yard with chickens... I will give her a break.

RaZ, how'd your conversation go with code enforcement? Or is that for Monday? I think a spite hedge would be nice. Especially one your bees would enjoy. Lol.

Welcome to the newbies...

And I am sure there is something else I wanted to say, but I think I forgot. Kinda like last night, I was driving, falling asleep, called Joe, (another driver), and was so still bad that I could not remember what I was talking about 2 seconds after I said it... Needless to say, I got to a parking lot and fell asleep for 40 minutes.

books... Might I suggest Gregory McGuire's Wicked series... A whole new take on the land of OZ. I am enjoying very much.. Not NOT for kids though.

HH those beautiful barred rocks make me feel ... Hungry ... look at the drumsticks on those birds

Little Ceasar's Hot & Ready $5.99...no problem....I'd buy him 2! lol

So Chickmate is on a boat in Florida and Chickflick and HillBilly Hen are on the road?

Sounds much more exciting than the quiet day we are having!
I LOVE QUIET DAYS.....don't get a whole lot of them...that's why I get up 5am every morning, to enjoy & savor the quietness! lol

If that's all it would cost me I'd hire you and few more in a heart beat. The only catch is the pizza would be offered any time of day, as many as you want, I'd let you choose what toppings....THE BEER....UNLIMITED & ONLY after the days work is done. This way I wouldn't have to worry about any unknown geometric angles being designed!

Well I'm done with my ice cream cone...Chocolate Mouse Tracks on a waffle cone...yum yum. It's back out to check on the chicks, the free rangers and to finish my yard work.

I guess sometimes that's a good thing.
How is Dash? It seems so strange to let the chickens out in the morning and not have him dash out of the pop door. Instead Soloman, the head roo comes out slowly and looks around before he lets the girls out.
Ya sometimes it is a good thing. Other times no. Dash is just wonderful. Happy, healthy, and full of life lol

Good Morning Everyone,
I enjoyed reading the posts and having a chuckle or two this morning. Prayers for those in need. It's another beautiful day in the making and I plan to be outside. I was gone a good part of the day running errands & chauffeuring kids to go bathe some horses. Boy do they like to get dirty....a lot of mud rolling going on with these warm temps!
I finished my day by putting a cardboard box filled with pine shaving in the back of my barn mobile and taking a little drive with my gang to meet Theron & his parents. Very nice & wonderful people! It was so nice to meet them in person and to put a face with all the familiar postings. This is what I came back with.

My Little 3 wk. old EE named Blu

and 3 that are having names decided. (another EE & 2 OEG bantams...friends for Sparrow)

I forgot how hard it is too take pics of active chics.....they don't sit still!!
Cute chicks. Love the blue

LOL! Are they really that big? I have to admit I live around a bunch of families with young kids and the chickens get the spoils of the leftovers from picky eaters. heh heh....they got a whole plate of half eaten hotdogs, hamburgers, and strawberries yesterday.

It is not uncommon for me to look out my window and see my neighbors dumping their vegetable/fruit scaps and leftovers into the chicken yard. (don't worry they've been instructed about what is not good for them) So maybe that's what's making them so...HUGE. LOL
Yes, they are really that big. AND, next to the bantams they look even bigger. I gave them their females today. They have Blue Marans and Blue Splash Marans. Big Boy is being good as gold now. I just don't think he likes the color blue. Hope he doesn't hold it against his girls LOL

Drove my daughter to the nail salon.

Im sorry.

I just wanted to get out of the house- going stir-crazy, hate being sick, feeling like an invalid.

BIG HUGE MISTAKE and I am really paying for it now.

I am going to eat some chicken broth, take a Tylenol 3, and go to bed.
My cousin is still yelling at me that I need to be in the hospital- because of this bruising. (it goes around my hip now onto my back) but I am going to see the doctor in the morning.
Got a low-grade fever. Thats normal, I think., She had one too for a few days.
BED- sounds like the plan for me.
The weather is so gorgeous out, the three week old babies had so much fun out there. I really enjoyed sitting out there, watching thems scratch around looking for bugs.
