I don't think its a holiday. I think, it is just to hot to cook anything... and grilling is the order of the day... though the person grilling is getting roasted...

I came home from getting the fence and saw that she dug up the mums I planted out by the tree she is itching about.

We had grilled hot dogs tonight. DH went to Meijers and got buns.

I just want your opinion on the heifer that we might be able to buy this weekend. I had found this ad on Craigslist-

She is due to calf for the first time in mid-spring. Beautiful, healthy, well tempered, grassfed guernsey/angus cross. She was weaned naturally. Must sell--moving out of state.



I had called the guy and asked him some questions, and he said that she was bred to a Lowline Angus bull, never been vaccinated, and is on just hay, never grain.

That sounds fine to me, but would like your input.



I can barely do anything outside, and have been having headaches from the heat. Almost 90 degrees today! I hate it! I am so looking forward to cooler weather!!!

I had called Townline hatchery today, to check if their breeder stock are MG clean, and they said yes! I had ordered some ISA Browns from them through the local feedmill., so my mom can have some eggs when I cull my current flock in a few months. I will be keeping them in the converted grow-out coop. I just disinfected it today with Vicrkon.

What the heck? The tree is on your property, right? Why would she dig up the mums, i.e. vandalize your property? Can't she just give it a rest?

Maybe she secretly has a thing for Raz and don't know what to do about it, all these emotions bottled up inside!! Could be a possibility.

The tree is between the sidewalk and the street so it is technically city property. The mums were on "her" side of the imaginary line. I'll ask the ordinance guy on Friday. Maybe point out a few other things....
