Lovely! Those are just lovely paintings! I used to paint... Kids happened. Now I don't even find the time to draw! LOL. I do not do landscapes or architecture... My perceptions are very off... LOL.

Thank you Nova. It's encouraging when people say that because I have Macular degeneration, and I'm never sure that what I see and paint is what is really there. (My perceptions are WAAAAY off!)

Kids happened to me too, so I encourage everyone/anyone to "TRY" and fit these things into their lives while they can. I wish I'd kept doing it while raising kids. I think of all the time I didn't paint and how much better I would be now if I'd kept at it.

Um, well, I'm better at painting than I am at photographing, but here goes . . .

This is a Cathedral in Britain (Salisbury), where I used to go to school - I can't get the flash to work properly, the colors aren't right. But I'm very happy with the composition, even though Himself says I paint dark and dismal paintings (well, it's twilight!).



And this is Bewdley, also in England, and the colours are way too saturated. Better get hubby to take some better pics.

TC - You have an incredible gift! These paintings are beautiful. I especially love the top one and would hang either one over the couch in my formal living room. Absolutely beautiful. The water in the top one looks like I could dip my finger in it. I really, really love the top picture. Really. Do you sell them or show them somewhere? I hope you show them, they are too beautiful not to! Did I mention I really love the top one?

Totalcolour- Beautiful paintings and I agree with Chickmate. The top one is absolutely fantastic. It looks so real! It would be so neat to be able to do that, but that particular gene went to my daughter.

RaZ- hope your back feels better soon. OTC pain meds can be tricky to figure out what works best for what type of pain. My youngest just did a mild sprain on her wrist and I gave her Tylenol and it didn't touch it. Gave her Aleve (naproxen) and it helped. Hope you can figure out your cocktail.

Sarah- glad to hear your dad only required a stent and is on the mend.

Chickens have proven they can levitate to get where they want to go.
