Had an awful start to the week on Monday.

Holy crow, swampducks! That sucks! And I would so not be paying for his freakin cat door, he's the one that shut your dog in there in the first place, BS! Hope at least everything with the fence goes well for you, and you have an end to the trouble.

Might as well live in Michigan and drive to Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Holland, Lansing or Detroit hospitals (I am sure I am missing some good hospitals here).

If you're going to drive anywhere, I wouldn't drive to Lansing!

It can definitely be done if you are serious about it, I have several friends that live off the grid.

Is that so....

sounds like a plan to me! Tell me more! :) Then it's just a question of whether I can get the BF to go along with it...hehe

Swampducks...
It sounds like you need a hug

My mom had a crazy neighbor that would throw dog poop at the side of her house... That, to be fair, may or may not have been her dogs poop. He never said anything about it or asked her to clean it up. By that time her dog was 17... older than dirt and loosing her mind and functions.

I am glad you got your pup back without any major damage being done. Some people are crazy!! You can tell someone is crazy if they don't like animals. And my rule is if my dog doesn't like you... I don't either!!

x2!!! That's not your fault, he didn't have to trap your dog like that. Yes, he/she escaped but he chose to do that, it's not like the dog got in there & tore stuff up.

Each state has it's own laws. I think Michigan does a pretty good job at balancing individual rights with the rights of others in the community. It is worth knowing how a state functions before moving there. There are some pretty serious criminal cases/conflicts/perhaps injustices in Florida. It reflects on the states Judicial system and the laws the people of that state have put into place.

In Hawaii, the population is so small and so many people have long histories with each other that crimes/abuses can go unreported and uncorrected for a long time. Justice as we know it can take a second place to the traditions of local culture.

Here are my developing de'ccle (mabe) chicks, they are turning out buff with black markings????? The largest is definitely acting roo-ish, flapping about and chest bumping the others: (Little bean is still little and calm)

Are you trying to talk me out of moving to Florida? lol...

Oh, and i wondered if you guys had missed the link i showed yesterday about vent sexing? I remember there were a few questions, this was a link to a video showing how......? Thought there would be a tad more excitement.

OMG fuzzybutt those are so cute!! I love their little fuzzy faces & their baby cheep sounds...aww!

All of mine still cheep for the most part, I dont know what age that stops. But one of them has a different cheep, it sounds sort of like one of those car alarm things, like when you arm it and it goes "weep-weep"...that's what it's cheep sounds like, it's lower pitched & sounds different. It also appears to have a deformed comb but is otherwise healthy.
