Last year I got a big one and had it tanned to make something out of. I haven't decided yet, maybe chicken aprons....

I was curious about what the rules are for keeping animal hides here in Michigan. I read the DNR site a couple times but nothing really made sense to me.
If you kill a pest animal, are you allowed to keep the hide and do what you want with it, or do you need a license of some sort?

The only guns I've shot were made by Nerf, so I'm not all that well versed in hunting and such. I'd like to learn more and perhaps take it up someday, as well as learn simple taxidermy and leather work.

Super Soakers only lasted about 15 minutes before someone got the hose out and drenched everyone else. It was an unfair fight so we weren't very enamored with them. Nerf guns were a go to for indoor play, until we lost all the darts, which usually took about a month with cats dragging them off.
Other than that, it was making up games outside, like mysterious island, time travel adventures and life size board games, or playing capture the flag/many incarnations of tag. Things always got more fun when we broke into the Halloween closet for make up, costumes and props.

We had a lot of fun with Super Soakers out in the woods. Capture the Flag paintball was the best, though.

I agree, you need a spinning wheel for those dogs.

Adorable bunny pic. What does "plucking" mean on a rabbit? Can you just pull off wads of fur when they are molting?

HAHA...I actually thought about spinning my dogs coats but I'd have to let them get really long and having to brush all that would be exuasting. Re: Plucking - exactly. Once you see their undercoat coming in (or they start dragging hair all over the place), you can safely just grab the end of the hair and gently pull it out. Doesn't hurt them one bit.

Oh, so... before I completely forget it. You guys give me nightmares.
This was completely hilarious.

It's always nice to meet a BYC'er. Especially when you have the opportunity to stuff their vehicle full of fowl and send them on their way.

Seriously though, I am now, officially, fowl free. Eeyore just left here with the last of our geese, ducks and turkeys and it was great having the opportunity to meet her. We literally stuffed her truck full of them and she's on her way home. It'll be weird stepping outside to an empty yard for the next few days, but it's nice to have another thing off the to-do list.
Im not sure if I missed this post...why are you getting rid of all your animals?

I've been playing paintball since the early days of Nel-Spots and oil-based paint.

The hot ticket now-a-days is Scenario paintball, 24 hours around the clock on a weekend. I've played from Maine to Malibu. Oh the stories I could tell!
