supposed to have a high in the low 60s today. And steadily warmer....but wetter the next few days...

About the cats... I had a cat for years... She'd crap where she wasn't supposed to... But when she started to urinate.... I put her down. Once a cat starts to relieve themselves in the wrong spot, like carpet, dirty clothes baskets... Well, they've got to go. I personally used a vet.

bissel makes a spray that works well... Of course, you can also use peroxide, being sure to pour more than the urine spot... Soak it up... Steam clean if possible.

Jenny I was there cold wasn't the word for it!! But all the awesome birds was worth the cold. I wish I wore a winter coat hat and gloves I would have stayed a lot longer. I think I need some show birds now I would love to put birds in the show. I bought 12 raffle tickets I don't think I won anything

What is this handsome little one? Serama?

Yes, My parents live in the woods and she wanted a natural flower bed on her terraces, we transplanted ferns, Jack in the Pulpit and Solomon Seal from her woods into the flower bed with no problems.

Olive - are you certain they don't do anything for a BIG toe. I was thinking baby toe and I know they just tape them, but I honestly don't know anyone who has broken a big toe.

Opa this is what your turkey made me think of. You and your coffee, but then you didn't have to sit and wait!

Does anyone know of a place in Michigan to get California Quail or hatching eggs. My son has wanted some since last year for a 4-H project. I don't want to buy the 100 chicks and the only eggs we can find are 30 in number and 70+ in price. I'm not willing to do that for his project.

The sun is bright this morning no wind, and not a cloud in the sky. Now if it would just warm up.
You should contact Randy in Muskegon. He raises some kind of quail plus he knows a guy that raises all different kinds. If you need his number I have it.

This morning just got better. As I sat drinking coffee Hope spotted two toms dancing at the back of the property. I grabbed my shotgun and quickly stalked the 150 yards that separated us. Fortunately there is a large mound of dirt that blocked their view of me. Belly crawled up and over the berm and only one tom left.

Congratulations on the nice tom Sam!!

Has anyone read the Mercy Thompson series I loved it! I also like the Hunger Games and the Host. I am reading Abraham Lincoln the Vampire Hunter, interesting.

You never know how much you use something till it's broken, thats for sure. Take this little bug bite I got while in AZ a few weeks ago, boy did this hurt!!!!!

Here's a picture of the hunting shack that my son and I will be turning into a coop with a run. I really need to paint this shack. I can't wait for leaves on the trees.
