Aw! Ducklings! What kind are they? (I think I missed that post)

Speaking as a complete novice couldn't you use a less insulated/more ventilated coop for breeds like Chanteclers which were bred for Canadian winters? I'm not saying just a nest box and a run but maybe a platform with thick bedding, nest boxes, a roof, and short walls to break the wind?

My coop has no insulation. Just nice thick wood.

Raz it is definitely a good thing. He's tough and an awesome guy, he just made some bad decisions by taking drugs. He's feeling it these days but he still builds bikes and tells me stories of how he used to be a bouncer at some of the old concert halls in Detroit.
No wonder I can get a job these days...Just look what people are posting about me on public forums that employers lurk on...

Let's see if this photo montage works....

I hope that isn't the case with Family Farm and Home.

Laura, Does the Co-op sell scratch? I usally but FFH scratch, but it's not Purina. I buy the cheaper stuff $. However, I still get the Purina Flock Raiser only because I have a pile of $2 off coupons.
