Raz I meant to ask last week whether we would be able to bring beer to the Chickenstock area because my husband works at a bottling/brewing company and we get tons of low fills. All so far have been delicious like the Sanders Chocolate Ale and the Rattler (Rot-ler). We would bring a sampling of the soda and carbonated herbal waters too. We don't mind sharing so long as those who take are legal age.
Your ducks must have been so cute in the sink. We try to give our 5 some splash time in the top of a storage tote since it is deep enough for them to lay in but not get bogged down.
My husband brought home this huge 3 inch thick cardboard tote that held 300 gallons of a mix for his work that is our "pen" in the garage now until we staple the rest of the hardware cloth on for their house. I could always dump my kids in that but I think they would get smart enough to knock it over and free themselves. My friend has a dog zip line that they don't use anymore and I am wondering if it is child abuse to tether them or just good sense. After all, we have monkey backpack leashes in stores and I remember kids getting bungeed together with colorful wrist bands so they wouldn't get lost back in the 80s.
