Frig, well, someone else said they were hoeing. XP

CG, sweet picture. :)

Stacykins, sooo cute!

Since I have children as old or older than many of you I can speak with some experience with regard to worrying about them. It never ends.

I am going to be 25 this year and had dated a guy for 7 years on and off (mostly on) Until I met my BF that I have my son with.
So it is not impossible that this guy could be the one!
Heck, I like him and I don't even know the guy... all you had to say was canoe!

SO WHO WANTS TO GO CANOEING???

My son likes Howl's Moving Castle too! He is 3. I was worried he would have nightmares from it. He had nightmares after watching Wall E and the Incredibles for a while... Maybe because they look more real?? He loves the old school Spiderman and His Amazing Friends cartoon! I have a hard time getting past the cheesy banter...

Stacy... That one chick!!!!

I really, truely laughed out loud!!!!! Love it!

Nova... I vote PLAY!

We are going to light off some lanterns tonight who wants to come over and have a few drinks, laughs, maybe a fire, and light the sky on fire?

I'm really impressed with how my egg sales have be going of late. Five dozen eggs taken from the little refrigerator on the front porch, $24 dollars left in the box.

Well, I didn't play. I did go feed, water, check the fumes in the new coop... Still not aired out enough to move in Leila and her brood. SO, I took some plastic poultry netting that I had gotten when I got my very first chickens, that would be the silkies, and put it up for them. Made Roger happier. 8 square feet is not enough, so now they've got about 30. The little chickies were so dang cute running around in there. I hope tomorrow will be better on the new coop so they can inhabit it. All the other chickens have checked it out already.

Skatter has really taken to Mommy-hood. She's vicious... I have already said this. HOWEVER, her viciousness now extends to attacking me while I am trying to change the food and water. And then she rushes her chicks into the tight corner, turns around and faces me while her chicks are buried under her fluffy self, and screeches at me until I am done. HAHA. If I did utube crap, I'd show ya'll what I mean. It really is hilarious.

SO, now I am going to take a nap till 9, then put every one away, and go to work. Oh the joy of that.

In the case that I do not get around to it tomorrow, since my Sundays are suckfest days, Happy Mothers Day to all.

DUDE, I can build a new coop with that money. HAHAHA. I should start having about 7 dozen eggs a week near the end of this month. Then more when the ones from Leila's and Skeeters first hatches start. They are only 16 weeks now. The littles are 18. WOW! Shoot.

If your son liked Howl's Moving Castle, there are other films made by Hayao Miyazaki that are definitely not scary and VERY good movies. Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro (ESPECIALLY this one, very kid oriented and so warm and amazing), Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind, and Laputa: Castle in the Sky that are all age appropriate. His other films, such as Mononoke Hime and Porco Rosso are much more mature and could potentially frighten a youngster, but are great films too. Spirited Away is an AMAZING film, but might be a bit much for him at his current age, in a few years it might not be scary. Pom Poko is silly and cute (with a huge environmental theme), but each male raccoon has gigantic raccoon dog balls (tanuki, the raccoon dog, is strongly featured in Japan art since ancient times having large male packages). Tales from Earthsea, done my Hayao Miyazaki's son, might be along the same lines as Spirited Away.

As always, it is a good idea to watch something beforehand to check it out and make sure. I'm not a parent, so I'm only shooting from the hip here as to what might be age appropriate.

My Uggos are about 20 weeks now. M2M said they hatched out on Dec. 15th. So they better start soon with the egg output.

These are for Juise (and any other person) who thinks that I am an evil, evil vile man...

The little orphan is usually protected/surrounded by its step-siblings.

While cleaning the duck brooder, I put this mesh over the sink so the bold little jumpers didn't do anything they might regret. I don't think they even noticed, they were busy splashing and bobbing for peas.
