I was pleasantly surprised to log on to my thread Opa's Place and find that it has hit over 5000 posts. Hard to believe that people will log on to read an old man's rambling.

Nice work. Tap. (Looks like EMAW found that missing "r")

Kudos for re-purposing old materials. If you need a couple of wheels to make it more mobile, let me know. I have a few spare tires lying around.

Opa, it's not hard to believe that people will log on to hear your pearls of wisdom.

Yes, these are real human rooster theives. Can't talk about WHY on BYC, not permitted, but suffice it to say it's not good. :(
That's weird. I doubt they would come over my way, and if they did it would be the last roo they ever stole. The farmers around here know more about where I go than I do

Rooster thieves scare me... I have a lot, and I'd hate for THAT to happen to them.

Last day doing the third shift job was last night! WOOT! I have no Idea how I am going to manage to sleep thru the night. Hmmm...

I was going my route today and a man was taking up sod and loading it up in a wheel cart. I stopped and asked him what he was going to do with it, he said nothing, so I asked if I could take it from him to put in the bottom of my chicken coop. He gave it me, and I offered to pay, he said nope, so I asked him if he'd like some eggs, and did he like duck eggs, he said yes, SO, going to trade him good yum yum for some grass.... the type you mow. HA HA!

That is hilarious. I'd get one for here but I know it would violate the sign ordinance.

When I was in court Tuesday, the ordinance officer produced a photo of my NWF "Certified Wildlife Habitat" sign and said that wildlife is not permitted in the city. I guess I should tell that to the robins nesting in my cherry tree.

Don't you just love how city employees come up with the craziest stuff to justify their jobs?
What did you say when he said that? UGH, I hate when officials make stupid rules. What about the squirrels? Should you tell them all the nuts are next door?
