Theron - Congratulations!

Farmerboy - awww love those beautiful calf eyelashes

Raz - baby skunk - too cute

Juise - we always used frozen bagels when my son was teething. He loved carrying them around nibbling and sucking on them.

I did NOTHING today! Ok I sat and read because it rained all day! I brought Yeti in to eat. I put her in her tote in the family room and DH and I went in the living room. My son checked on her.... said she was fine and left. About a half hour later into the living room wanders Yeti. Luckily the dog didn't grab her and she didn't fall down the stairs. It seems my son decided she was full and took her out of the tote and put her on a towel..... to sleep and then left her there when he left.

KID!! He really didn't understand why I was upset with him.

I resisted turning on the heat today but thinking about it this evening. Stay warm and dry!

I treated my flock today with permethrin for they had mites, and put all the hens in the pens with the right roosters. I will treat them with Denagard on Monday. On Tuesday, I will start saving the eggs to rebuild my flock. Let the rebuilding process begin!

Well said Opa. My dad put a lot of expectations on us for a while. I remember it was pretty up there until I reached about 10th grade. Then he hurt his back again and that is also about the time he was diagnosed with BP. Then he just expected us to graduate. Then he expected nothing when my eldest sibling dropped out of school. My youngest sister also dropped out. I was the only one to graduate. The first to graduate on my moms side of the family. Both my sisters have since gotten their GEDs. My youngest sister is even taking college courses now. But even when she was in school, she was an honor student. She just quit one day. No rhyme or reason really. But I agree, it really is up to the parent.
