Mom - Sorry you didn't end up with more. So sad when they don't hatch.

Took my young Orloffs out today. A couple chickens checked them out. They all scurried off except one. I think Igor is a rooster.

Taprock - we have had hens that were super brave also! Can't wait to find out if Igor is a hen or rooster! What a great photo!

If you're giving brewing lessons, count me in! Can you throw in honey bee lessons while you're at it? You know, we don't ask for much. LOL!

Oh, me too! Have you ever done a Gluten Free brew? (no barley or wheat) I am really not a huge fan of the GF beer options out there.

I've done seminars for garden groups about the benefits of bees. Raising bees is a great hobby, but starting out is rather expensive. However, after the initial expense, it not that bad as long as you have healthy colonies. I enjoy talking about bees and educating people to how wonderful they are.

I see how it is, do all the fun stuff when I'm not around.

I did an apple beer a few years ago that had no wheat or barley. I also make mead.
I'll have to look up GF brews that actually taste good. I do like a challenge.
Same with wine. I want to try something that is sulfide free.
