Well, it just poured here for a good fifteen minutes and now it's coming down in a nice soaking rain. If it doesn't go too far north it should make it to Raz and M2 in a few hours. We needed it so badly here. Hate to see what the weeds will look like in the garden tomorrow, but excited for the plants. Even well water is not an equal substitution for a good summer storm.

We need it to POUR for like 3 days straight down here to get everything good and watered

The Last few hours it has been "sprinkling" a few drops here a few drops there

which means tomorrow after work i'll be outside the rest of the day watering the trees and chickens and ducks

Just check the satellite views and it doesn't look to promising for the rain to reach here. Everything is starting to get pretty dry but with the mowing all done today it may be a while before it needs it again.

Raz isn't on line so I guess we will just have to sit and wait for a further explanation for the "feathered demons" comment.

I mowed a week ago and only a few patches of the "good" grass has grown maybe an inch, the rest is dead

We got a good rain here in Grand Rapids. I am hoping we get more overnight.
