Nova,

that stinks. I didnt realize cats would kill and eat chickens. Guess I always thought of cats/farms/chickens...chicks, different story. I KNOW my Sushi would like some baby uggo.

I am running around like crazy trying to find something that I can put the two silkies in. Nova, if you have grass, my girls are gonna be so so happy.

AND I am trying to find something to cover my pen with- or else Robins roadrunner will run like the wind, and even my superduper net wont catch her.

ROBIN- I am thinking I will keep her in the cage. You can hook up with my hubby at deer hunting season some time and give it to him. Probably best if we dont try to let her out or she may well be a free meal to the coons in Delta Mills park.

How about sheets? As in bed sheets? Think I could cover the pen with bed sheets to keep birds in and give em some shade? Sure, why not,. ....I will steal my daughters. lol.
No problem M2M

Question: Are dogs allowed in the park, do any of you bring your dogs? I was thinking about bringing mine. She is well behaved, people, kid & chicken oriented and I would have her on a leash. Good idea or bad one? Doesn't matter either way was just wondering because if we leave her home I'd just have to get someone to run over and let her out for a few minutes. What are your thoughts??

Fam and I just got to our hotel here in Lansing. Looking forward to tomorrow. See ya'll then!

Breads are made, (banana, pumpkin, cranberry... FYI, all have nuts), salad is prepped, will mix when I get there... Got my Hen Ride ready, and I may be bringing those rabbits with me. And the neighbors said Please don't bring them back. LOL. So a good deal will be made.

Anyway, trap is set. So excited to meet every one tomorrow! Gotta get up early, my jeep is slow!

My bunny until....? Did I tell you she's a sweetie?

I think I remembered seeing ONE last year..maybe a couple. I dont think people would mind as long as she doesnt chase the chickens!

Brooder boxes are done and loaded into the truck. I hope someone can help DH unload them.
Plenty of men to help him HH..no worries there!

See y'all in about 11 hours! And 1muttsfan a couple hours earlier than that! I'm hitting the hay now, got a long drive in the morning.

To console myself, I heard about a small animal swap going on in Cadillac. I can hit that first thing in the morning before the family obligation.

Maybe next year....

Time to rise and shine. Just a little over three hours till Chickenstock which is going to be more fun than a box of puppies. See you soon.

truck is loaded, chickens caught and in carriers and loaded up...whew!!!! I promise next year, if I am the only one loading and catching and loading..I will be the only one coming. Kids are asleep.

They were at the Lake yesterday with my husband- didnt get home until 1130, so I couldnt pack last night. Of course, they didnt UNPACK their stuff when they got home, so I got that job too.

Time to shower and get the girls up.

SEE YOU ALL SOON. AND I PACKED MY FREEZIE THINGS.
