Oh it can't be as bad a goat. LOL! My whole house smelled like goat....that went promptly to the fiber mill to be processed (it was alot of fleece...too much for me to handle on my own). Do you wash your own to use?

Oh this is interesting. Not sure I would take that much time to make that for my chickens though. Only becuase I doubt they would truely appreciate my efforts. LOL Plus I could see major fighting to try to get a piece of the pretty multicolored frozen block of food. I choose to just freeze the veggies and fruit whole or in small pieces and sprinkle it in the run...that way their is no fighting.

It's pretty though. :) Thanks for sharing!

I'm frustrated. Or maybe it's the heat getting to me! lol

Does anyone know of a waterer that WON'T get wood chips in it? I have a really nice brooder box on the porch with a waterer that I have to clean out the trough at least 10-15 times a day. I tried putting it on a plate so it's not directly on the floor of the box but that doesn't make a difference. I think those little buggers like seeing me get ticked off when I have to stop and clean it out again on my way out the door. Sometimes it happens so often I'm ready to throw them in one of the duck pools which is still cleaner than that ****** waterer!!

Keyt, I have mine up on an old camp fire rack. Yup, I know what you mean.... Chips were awful, saw that in the garage, and thought, hey, they are old enough to jump up there to drink, and they sure do. No more wood chips in the water, no more spilled water. Oh, so nice. Other thing, is to put it up on a brick... Like a patio paver with enough room for the chicks to still stand next to it to drink.

Finally got hold of my sister, she's been walking. They keep her walking to avoid blood clots. Well anyway, they've gotten the results back from the testing and the drainage from the bile bags they put back in. Looks like the round y surgery is a bust. They'll decide thursday if they are just going to just cut half the liver off. Now to decide what hospital.
A big on, with lots of very good specialists, CG idea is good if not possible at least Spectrum GR
Someone on injuries / cures just told me Ivermectin does not treat lice on chickens because they don't suck blood, while the lice cattle get do suck blood. Did I miss something here, or am I just suffering from more "everyone has a different opinion"?
the label says mites I think the only one it doesn't take care of are leg mites

I either put it on a cement patio block or hang.
