I never said anything about SIllyChicken...

Congrats Silly~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And about camping-

Camp Dearborn in Milford-

they have canvas framed tents for rent that come with a cabana with a refrigerator and stove outside the tent. The tents have two sets of bunk beds inside and two single beds. You have a grill as well. The bathrooms are located not too far away with a sink for washing dishes and a shower facility.
Beach and a swimming pool. Also paddleboat rental.
The activity center has activities for kids- different activities each night of the week.

They also have cabin rental and sites with just electric hookup for tents or campers.

I do not know anything about Kensington, except it is just down the road from Camp Dearborn. Except they have a petting farm, and a cool nature center with nature trails.

Where did you find this?? Love it, and would like one too!

Oops, hit wrong button. Was referring to the circular egg dispenser. Then I read further. Duh. Just need more coffee...

A beautiful morning is underway and having it start with temperatures under 60 certainly bodes well for how the rest of the day is going to shape up. I would like to thank all who have expressed their concern regarding my absence from the thread. Your comments and messages are just one more example of why I consider myself to be a very wealthy man.

On Sunday I discovered that I had left the hot wire unplugged and that coons what chewed on the portable electric fencing requiring repair of the damaged section. They had also been digging next to my A-frame coop attempting to get at the bantams it contains. So on Monday I set my 2 DP Duke traps and awoke Tuesday to a couple of angry coons. Wednesday started with dispatching another and this morning with two more. That brings my total to 10 since April. I need to pick up a few more traps and keep them set around the perimeter of the chicken yard.

Good Morning,
I've noticed that I need to trim my Bantam Roo's beak. Never thought I'd have to do that but I noticed several days ago that the top is quite longer than the bottom and it takes him a little longer to eat snacks. He's fine with feed for it's crumbles but the bigger stuff is a little more challenging. By the time he actually get a piece the right size one of the hens usually notices he's got something good and run over & snatch it right from him!

Happy belated birthdays to Mr. Olive & Raz.....hope your day was splendid!

Nova....that's quite a stash you have going on there!! lol

This morning there was a nice big oppossum in the live trap! Hope he enjoyed that last meal cause tonight he sleeps with the fishes!

Good morning Michigan, sunny and cool this morning, heading into the wonderful 80's today. The only (small) weather complaint I have is that we need some rain - on the other hand, the lawn is not growing, so no need for mowing. Maybe we don't need rain.

Olive I think you gave your true self away when you posted about those missing dogs...

My DH is having with drawls......He hasn't mowed our lawn in about 3 wks. It's going to seed every where though and the grass around the edges of the garden is the prettiest green you ever seen from the daily watering.

Robin better get here soon to get her chicks...people are starting to wonder why there's a box making peeping sounds lol I keep saying "I don't hear anything" LOL No fooling them, I've worked in this Lab for 6.5yrs now...they've got me figured out. (or they'd like to think they do!)
