She hatched from a dark brown egg (black copper maran-ish)I still vote easter egger, she looks a lot like the baby i made from my "lemon blue?" "blue quail?" hen and my "silver quail?" "silver duckwing?" boy. Watch her comb, my chick showed himself a red comb at 6 weeks, and he is darker than his momma, with the barring. Depending on an easter-egger's parentage, they may or may not have the poufy face or the green legs.
Here is a site that shows a few of the EE babies, and what they looked like as they grew up-they will change a lot, even after their first feathers!

I don't really mind what she is... she is sweet.
She is over six weeks and she does have the greenish legs... not as much as Nugget though.
Thanks for the site... it is really interesting to see how they change!!
I had a parakeet that was a canary yellow when I bought her. She must have had some crazy mutant genes cause she turned almost all white and her beak grew strait out. She was the strangest looking budgie I have ever seen.
Agreed!Shut your dirty mouth.

I have a friend with huskies that prays for winter...

I couldn't eat duck eggs because they made my stomach upset When I was younger... too much sulfer or something???WOW! I've never heard of anyone being allergic to duck eggs. Chicken eggs, yes. Almost all of our duck egg customers buy them because they're allergic to dairy/chicken eggs.
I should try them again sometime soon.
