LOL! I always make sure to tell people I'm not choking them, I just have my thumb under thier chin and my middle finger behind thier head to teach them to pose in an alert position. It always looks like I have them in a choke hold.WAFFLES!!!!! And a bunch of Miniature Waffles!!!!! Stop choking Waffles, you big brute! LOL!
Stupid Question: He's much lighter than most I've seen, is that due to being a juvenile and he'll get darker or is it just the way he is?

Not a stupid question really because color is an important part of this breed. They do get darker as they get older, you can see the darker color coming in on the arch of his back. They are supposed to have a nice red-ish color popping out from under wavy black ticking. A lot of people have brough in imported hares and they have different colors over there and don't care about not breeding one color to the other (which messes up the color) and those hares are way way too dark. I had a Croatian doe who was very nice, but by the time she hit 1.5yrs old she was way too dark. He is going to have nice color to him...here's a picture of one of my older Jr does who has got an incredible red "glow" to her. She looks darker then she is because of the shadow cast on her back...
