So are we having an Uggo swap/BBQ here tomorrow or what?
I bought the animal safe non teflon coated "lamp" too. If you get them from the hardware store they are covered in teflon and some even say they contain lead!!!!!just read in BACKYARD POULTRY, TEFLON COATED LIGHT BULBS ARE TOXIC TO CHICKENS
I figured that because their natural habitat is puddles... in South America, I think. I read that somewhere.re: betta fish.
Sorry, I can't find the original post to refer to. Bettas can live out of water for longer than one would expect. It has something to do with the way they process oxygen, and is why they can survive in such small amounts of water. If I had more energy I'd google it for the technicalities.
My son's Betta did the same thing. He was dry and covered with carpet fuzz when I scooped him up to flush him. When he twitched, I about freaked. I dumped him back in the tank where he took a day or two to look like his old self.
My mom had an albino african aquatic frog and it would jump out all the time. I stepped on it once and another time found it dried to the carpet!!! I thought for sure it was dead that time! Nope! Peeled it of the carpet and threw it back in the tank! Gross and amazing!
Randy- what time are we meeting up at your place?
Sounds good to me! Then after lunch we will be going to BFs grandmas. So the party is here tomorrow?
I'm down with that.
I have hot dogs, brats, hamburgers and chicken breasts ready for the grill.
Any time after noon is fine with me.
I got uggo fever! I got uggo fever!
