It would be really cool if you would hatch out a couple of those D'Anvers along with your bob white and then you could and I could meet up and have a big ol' quail release and I could bring home those d'anvers to live with my girls.....

Well if them dumb d'Anvers would lay some eggs I would hatch them out for you LOL

Ive got them WAYYYYYYYYYY up with Ferrret's friend, and way out this way with BYFM, close by with Randy and myself and midway with Vanessa and Nigellas...Taprock has a couple non-uggo frizzles but, I am working on her...also by next year, Swampducks and Olive will be ready...
some to you, some to Chicken Grandma and Keyt...Nova..and I think I will have the state covered...

Ooooohhhhh!!! Yes, I must! How small? Dime, nickle, quarter???
I just bought some clear bulbs (x-mas ornaments) to put some in!
I have one baby that is asleep in a pistachio shell!!! So tiny!! Oh and it has real bug wings!

It would be neat to let some go in the woods over here... I think there are too many predators here though... not to mention cars.

I forgot to tell you guys my fox story!!!
My nieghbor told me she had a fox that lived behind her (opposite side of the road) and I was skeptical... she told be about the vixen scream..."HEEEELP"
The other night, I heard a strange dove like call... but it was further away and louder than a dove would be. So I looked up fox calls on youtube and was playing them somewhat loudly at about midnight. Then heard nothing after that...
The next day my next door nieghbor asks "What was going on over there last night? It sounded like hyenas over there at 3am?"
I told her we had been playing fox and owl calls at 12 and she said no, she was awake at 3am and thought she heard coyotes fighting!!
Ooooppps! (probably should not have called them to the chickens...

)
I hope we don't have coyotes...

Gotta go lock up the chickies!

How big are they? They aren't buttons are they? I know our eggs you can put a finger through with no problem. Buttons are great to hatch, nothing like a chick the size of a bumble bee.
