Microwave free

I have been microwave free for about 2.5 years as part of my dietary/lifestyle change for better health. The micorwaves is now a giant timer and stove top fan.

Anyone else microwave free?

I use mine very little, maybe once a week. There used to be two in this house, mine that I brought when I moved in and the one that belonged to DH's mom. Hers was a big ol' hulk thing, mine little. I finally convinced DH that we barely used one, didn't need two. I use mine to heat up a vegetable for supper sometimes; that's about it. I always heat in glass, never plastic. In fact, I'm trying to get away from using plastic storage dishes altogether.
