Mid July Harry Potter Hatch-a-long

Luna has hatched! 🐣 💃

Hagrid is keeping her company in the incubator. Ron hasn’t done much more pipping

Here are the first four HP fluffateers

Not seeing anything from the others yet, but it’s possible they pipped on the bottom side of their shells.

Turning in for the night, let’s see what the morning brings!

🎉 yay Luna!! 🎉

Can't wait to see you all fluffed up and zooming around the brooder! 🐥

Go Harry! 🐣
Use your wand and hatch!!
Just say, “pipus zipus”.
It's so funny, Harry hatched almost at the same time as you wrote this! He must've heard the "pipus zipus" 😂

Ron and Hermione both hatched overnight.

Harry, Ron and Hermione are all BCMs, it's very difficult to tell them apart. They are all handsome little chicks, black with white chests. Letting them fluff up together in the incubator today, then they can come out and join Hogwarts (aka the brooder)!

The only egg that has not hatched is #11 Padfoot (olive egger). He may be a quitter as there is no pip or movement. Will candle later today.

But 9 of 10 that went into lockdown hatched, or 9 of 12 total eggs. 75% hatch rate, I'm happy with that!

That is an amazing hatch rate! Congratulations on the successful hatch! :woot
Can't wait to see pictures of all the fluffy residents of Hogwarts!:jumpy🧙‍♂️🧙‍♀️🧙
Thank you, I am thrilled!

I just need at least 3 of these 9 to be hens. I'm sending in the eggshells to Buckaboo Farms for gender testing, so we should know in the next week or so.
