Mid Level Birds, Mid Level Prices.

Do you think its possible to start a breeding program, with say 7-10 breeds, breeding GOOD quality birds at GOOD prices. I know hatcheries just mass produce, and are mass produced at low quality. Then there are breeders who focus on a handful of breeds and devote themselves to breeding to sop. Are there companies or people out there doing something in the middle? If so, is there room in the market? If not, is it not feasible? I am not looking to get rich, not even looking to make money really. I would be pleased with breaking even.

Starting a backyard flock and breeding is perfectly simple and easy to do you just have to get the right breed. I breed phoenix and I breed them in a backyard flock and they can sell for $50 each! Just get the right breed and focus on that.
