mid to end of april hatch along

i'm starting my set batch of eggs on April first! any one want to hatch with me? i'll be setting 38 eggs, barnyard mixes of easter eggers, gold laced wyandottes, columbians, speckled sussex, and golden comets. had a pretty good success rate with my last hatch. 22/38. i didn't think that was bad for a first try. this batch will be going to my brother in law so hoping for another good hatch.

I will join you, I have 41 eggs I can set tomorrow. They will be a mix of EE, OE, Naked Necks, Bard Rocks and Golden Sex links. I have 48 due on the 7th and have some hatching this weekend.

wow, this is only my second time setting eggs in an incubator hoping for good results. how are your results any tips you'd like to pass on?

Yes, this is great! I set 10 Saxony Duck eggs just over a week ago. We are on our day 8, but we expect to hatch on Friday, April 20th.

So count me in!!

I candled tonight and 4 were clear. 6 are doing great with a lot of nice veining. Good, because I don't want a whole flock of ducks. 2 - 4 ducks would be perfect for me. Any extras we'll post on Craigslist.
