Let me start @ the beginning. My friend Jerry raises these self blues,& Lemon Blues strictly for size. Smaller the better. I wanted to try to breed blue splash from them. He gave me a dozen eggs to work with. One egg he joked may be a pigeon egg. It was tiny(he doesn't have pigeons). It turned out that egg hatched into a tiny chick. YES THEY ARE ALL FROM THE SAME HATCH. This chick hasn't seemed to of grown since it was 2 weeks old. If the chicken wire is stretched to tight, she can slip threw the holes. I call her PeeWee. She'll stand up to any chicken or Roo in the pen. Al tho I keep her with my silkies for safe keeping..........PS I threw in a few pics of my BBS, After all they were the reason I started the hatch.
