midget white questions

Are midget white turkey chicks hard to raise? I was told that they do not have a good survival rate.

I have Beltsvill Small Whites, which upon researching seems are pretty much the same as Midgets aside from a few small differences. I bought 6 unsexed poults last year. ( have never owned a turkey) All six thrived, love pasture...super curious, very sweet birds. I ended up with 3 toms & 3 hens, they began mating last month and for the past month have been laying 3 eggs a day, sometimes only 2, but usually 3! Very healthy, very nice birds. Have the incubator full...waiting for my 3 banties to go broody and they will be stuffed with turkey eggs too. The hens are showing signs of not wanting to get off the nest (they carefully cover their eggs and have ONLY laid in the nestbox provided) so soon Ill let them try hatching a batch themselves too!
