Might be getting ducks tomorrow...

So...I might be getting three 4 week old cayuga ducks tomorrow. Our chicks just moved out of the brooder into the coop a few weeks ago, so they'll be able to go in there till they're ready to be moved outside.

School me! There are so many different recommendations out there...what's the best way to handle the mess in the brooder? How long do they need to be inside (night time lows are in the 40s currently, 65ish during the day)?

And if you were building a duck house for a small flock of ducks what would be your MUST HAVES? (I would never anticipate having more than 5 ducks)
 
Soooo we got the ducks haha. They played in the tub for a bit now they're in the brooder set up like I saw on a "Homesteady" YouTube video.

Now we just have to plan our duck house and build it, lol
 
Yes their down is not near as black as their adult feathers. I love cayugas. All of mine are very personable and relaxed.
