So I found 2 available apartments in an area I am interested in living in. For anyone wondering I've been looking to move to the country for a long time so I can keep a few birds. My cousin lives near them both. In his area you can legally keep farm animals. So how should I go about asking the landlord if they would allow a coop with a few birds in it in the yard? I really want this to work. Any advice would be appreciated!

After asking about the property I would casually ask about their outdoor pets policy. If they were open to outdoor pets then I would inquire about the birds.
