Hi DaveD, sorry to hear it didn't work out. I happen to be very lucky, my family works in construction and usually has a truck floating around that we can borrow, maybe that's why I get the things I look for.

I would so love a rooster but alas the neighbors would complain. I do however have a hen who thinks she is a rooster, she is mounting everyone and I'm starting to see bare spots on my other hens. I am not happy about that! They have tons of space, basically get to free range on their own 1/4 acre so who knows what gives. A rooster would sure put her in her place!!!!!
