Might sell these... Game pullets??

Is this a game chicken? We traded some roosters for 4 pullets like this one and that's what we were told. We have had them for about two months and are thinking of getting rid of them. They are extremely sketchy, always on edge, very loud and annoying. We have a mixed flock of 22, and these 4 just make the others nervous. They always run around the coop when we are near, running in all the nesting boxes trying to hide. Even when there are hens trying to lay. Very flighty.

I am in Louisiana. We will see if my grandpa wants them tomorrow. They wouldn't bother me if they weren't so anxious all the time. I know they will be pretty when older, and make great mothers, but my husband really wants them gone. And I want to make room for some blue egg layers anyway. I just didn't know if their personality is normal for that breed. Not familiar with the game breeds at all.

Wow, do I agree that game chickens aren't good pets. They move like the Road Runner and would rather be in the rain, surrounded by predators than be friends with a human! At least that's my experience.. Of course, when I replaced the presumed dead escapees with sweet, big Rhode Island Whites, one of games came out of the woods to befriend the birds, probably to lead them into a life of freedom and adventure!

I have free-range game and love them. They take care of themselves,I like their independence
