Migration of large raptors

I took the hike almost all the way up to Table Mountain once, driving from Driggs, ID and then hiking. I made it as far as the huge plateau right before you cross over to Table Mountain. That is beautiful land. I love the Tetons. Thank you for telling me what my avatar is!! I also drove to Teton Village at night once and it was wonderful to see the snow and the lights.

I just didn't recognize the mountains from a picture.

Ok, I just pulled out my picture with the mountains labeled.

The small mountain on the left is Mount Woodring, elev. 11, 590 ft.
The large mountain is Mount Moran, elev. 12, 605 ft.
The canyon in the middle is Leigh Canyon.

Yes 'em, that would be it! My wife and I spend a lot of spare time in the west part of WY. One of these day I will quit worring about the family business and move out there and just find a way to make it.

We went there on our honeymoon back in Feb, again for about the 6th time, and cross country skied for about 8 hours. You can take a picture close to the one in your avatar from the main rode leading into Yellowstone from Moose Junction.
It is like two different worlds being there in the summer vs. winter.... Breath taking.

No, thank you for bringing it up. I thought I was crazy and my husband thought the world was coming to an end. Tongue-in-cheek, of course!
Let me know if you see any more. Neither one of us could break our trance long enough to run for the camera.
